We reserve the right to update these Terms at any time. Continued use of the Service after changes are posted constitutes your acceptance of the revised Terms.
MyCity311 is a community-based reporting platform that allows residents to submit reports about local issues including potholes, street lighting, trash, graffiti, and other city service concerns.
MyCity311 is an independent platform and is not an official service of any city, municipality, or government agency, except where we have entered into a formal written agreement with that entity. Please see our Disclaimer for full details.
You must be at least 13 years of age to use the Service. By using the Service, you represent and warrant that you meet this requirement.
When you submit a report, photo, or any other content through the Service ("User Content"), you retain ownership of that content. However, by submitting it, you grant MyCity311 a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free license to use, store, display, reproduce, and distribute your User Content for the purpose of operating and improving the Service.
You agree that your User Content will not be false, misleading, defamatory, harassing, unlawful, or submitted for any purpose other than good-faith reporting of community issues.
MyCity311 is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or acting on behalf of any city, county, state, or federal government agency, unless explicitly stated for a specific city partnership.
The Service and its original content, features, and functionality are owned by MyCity311 and are protected by United States and international copyright, trademark, and other intellectual property laws.
The Service may integrate with or link to third-party services, including mapping providers and cloud platforms. MyCity311 is not responsible for the content or practices of any third-party services.
THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED ON AN "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE" BASIS WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND. WE DO NOT WARRANT THAT REPORTS SUBMITTED WILL BE RECEIVED OR ACTED UPON BY ANY GOVERNMENT ENTITY.
TO THE FULLEST EXTENT PERMITTED BY APPLICABLE LAW, MYCITY311 SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES. OUR TOTAL LIABILITY SHALL NOT EXCEED $100.
You agree to indemnify and hold harmless MyCity311 and its officers, directors, employees, and agents from and against any claims arising out of or related to your use of the Service or violation of these Terms.
These Terms shall be governed by the laws of the State of Maryland. Any disputes shall be resolved exclusively in the state or federal courts located in Prince Georges County, Maryland.
Any dispute that cannot be resolved informally shall be resolved through binding arbitration administered by the American Arbitration Association under its Consumer Arbitration Rules.
